My latest creative pleasure has been printing my own fabric to create ball joint doll clothing and furniture. I discovered silk of various types which can work on my inkjet printer as it has the right type of ‘dye’ to create beautiful water-proof patterns.
Artist gone mad! As I explore rich colors, layering of chiffon, organza and satin, embellishing with beautiful glass beads and shimmering embroidery threads. I was immediately drawn to butterfly inspired prints and Chinese silk themes. I now have packs of custom printed silk available in my Etsy store: Surreal Designs.
