Dina Goebel – sculptural artist

Generally my work has been nature based, I am driven to express my view as a suburban householder concerned about our natural environment.

Reality is in-fact … that we like our consumer products and as home-owners we selectively forget about our collective impact. Sadly this is not going to change. In my work I ask myself, how can we embrace a unison between our consumer desires and maintain our values in the protection of our native environment?

More recently I have begun to explore how modern consumer desires are impacting women and the façade we wear as a result of being moulded. This path for me is a new unexplored journey for me creatively.

Artwork for Sale

Each year I create a limited amount of artwork for sale as I balance work, home and my desire to be an artist.

  • Jewellery items may be purchased via my Etsy site ‘surreal designs’.
  • Please contact me directly for larger murals and sculptures.
  • I am not taking commissions at this stage.

My BJD Dolls

A new passion, creating one of a kind accessories for these amazing dolls .. in this way I continue the creative process beyond the doll itself.

Jewellery for Sale

I commenced designing jewelry for the ArTTable in 2006 and found with my sculptural experience that jewelry with wire, quality glass beads and gemstones came naturally to me.

My organic style so evident throughout all my working mediums also developed into a distinguishable feature in my jewelry designs.

Fantasy Dreams Bedheads

With my bedheads I source and adhere objects to create a sensory experience both visually, aesthetically and through touch.

Work in Progress by Dina

Mosaics and Homewares

Being passionate about working with tactile forms, I found mosaics to offer a deeply enriching composition when coupled with organic objects and amazing beautiful glass.

Sculptures and Murals

As an artist I delight in the 3-dimensional form. Sculpture has brought me so much joy as I experiment with tactile materials, adornments and fossicking to re-purpose found objects.
