Dandelion is part of Art Nouveau series which captures the gentle flowing lines and colors of nature. The Dandelion is cast in a resin and the soft leafy colors are obtained through multiple colors of silk which are layered during the molding process.
The body is a hoop pine ply and the resin has been layered and cut into the timber creating a sculptural effect. The dried flower stamens are represented by a variety of timber veneers which are then applied to the hoop pine background to create a Dandelion blowing in the breeze.
